RLL710TC Toton Fuel Line Store – Maintenance Office – O Gauge Kit
Railway Laser Lines – Laser Cut O Gauge Toton Fuel Line Store & Maintenance Office – now available with Revised Roof (March 2020 kit).
One of the UK’s main depots that still survive today is Toton Traction Maintenance Depot, currently owned under DB Schenker.
Toton has a large fuelling area, with 3 large fuel tanks and a number of outbuildings along side these. Railway Laser Lines are pleased to announce that our first of a range of kits from Toton is based on the old Fuel Line Store & Maintenance Office that still stands today, albeit there is now a newer reception building next door.
The outbuilding measures around 190mm in length, so won’t take up huge amounts of room. Where this lacks in size, it certainly doesn’t lack in detail and we’ve gone that extra mile with this kit to also include a fully brick interior too. The level of detail that the laser machine can do with bricks is second to none and no plasticard or resin can match. The roof has a strange side outlet that allows the drain pipe to come from and we’ve even added that to our kit and enclosed a plastic rod for the downpipe.
The kit is made from MDF, laser-card and acetate for the window glass. The kit shouldn’t take more than a few evenings work, allowing for parts to dry and what better way to wipe away the dark miserable evenings with a nice session in kit building.
