Features of the S-DEC-4
For digital control of:
-
up to 4 twin-coil magnetic accessories (e.g. turnouts or signals)
-
up to 8 single-coil magnetic accessories (e.g. uncoupling tracks)
-
up to four permanent power switch units (DSU) (e.g. for turnout-/ and road lights)
The switching current is supplied to the decoder either from the digital circuitry or through a separate input directly from the alternating current (AC) output of a model railroad transformer (12 to 18V~). Valuable digital current can be saved ! Simple and secure connection of turnouts, signals and uncoupling tracks by screw clips.
S-DEC-4 is a 4-fold turnout decoder with self learning decoder address:
Available as ready to use finished module, as finished module in a case or as kit on a 86*76 mm pc-board with four bores for mounting purposes. (Suitable installation material can be found under accessories).
Each of the 4 decoder outputs can be loaded with current up to 1 Ampere. This allows also the shifting of jammed turnouts. It is possible to switch 2 turnouts-/ or 1 turnout and one signal simultaneous.
The S-DEC-4-DC compatible to the DCC data format can now shift turnouts with the function keys F1 to F4 of loc-addresses (e.g. Lokmaus 2® or R3® from Roco)!
If you require a feedback of the turnout position please load the description of turnout_feedback to your pc.
The decoder from our Digital-Professional-Series can be operated without any difficulty from your digital controlled model railway. This decoder is 100% compatible to the Märklin-Motorola data format or the DCC standard.
The finished module and the finished module in a case comes with 24 month warranty.
Each S-DEC-4 decoder will be supplied with a detailed operating-/ assembly instruction. Those instructions can be found within the next section.
The S-DEC-4 is available as a kit (-B), as checked finished module (-F) or as checked finished module in a case (-G).
