Features of the M-DEC
For digital control of:
As the moving time of a motor drive is only some single seconds each output will be switched voltage-free after a periode of 10 seconds. This will protect the system if the drive limit switch is defect.
Simple and secure connection of the power supply to the turnout-motors by screw clips. There is no additional circuitry or wiring neccessary as required for instance by a switch decoder with bistable relays. The wires from the motors have to be connected directly to the decoder.
Please attend to the connection plan below about how easy motor drives can be connected. You can download detailled sample connections for several motor-drives!
The decoder receives the motor current either from the digital circuitry or through a separate input directly from the alternated current (AC) output (12 to 18 Volt ~) of a model railway transformer. Valuable digital current can be saved !
