RLL640U3 – OO Gauge Safety Railing Pack 3 – Unpainted

 

Metal safety railings are a common sight on the railways and can often be seen at depots where walking access next to lines requires protection. You’ll also see these near lineside equipment on the main lines and again are installed to protect and prevent access to the running line/s.

This is Pack 3 and consists of:-

2x 4 length (approx 64mm)
2x 5 length (approx 80mm)
2x 10 length (approx 160mm)

Total length of railings – approx 608mm

This item is made using our new ModelBord material that is flexible, so will allow you to use this around curves/bends etc.

This is the unpainted version and therefore requires priming and painting. We highly recommend a white spray primer, followed by a yellow spray paint. Once painted, simply use a craft knife/zippy blade to remove them and then either drill a small pilot hole and glue in place, or simply glue to your base.

Additional Parts Required (Not Included With Kit): A sharp craft knife/zippy blade or similar will be required to remove pieces from the template.
Other items required to assist: PVA Glue (or equivalent). This item comes unpainted. You will need to prime and paint this item

Advise: When priming/painting, do so in a well-ventilated area and use an appropriate mask. This item is fragile so handling with care is paramount.
