Piko 59198 Expert OBB Vectron 500 Electric Locomotive VI
HO Scale/ 1:87
This is a model of the ÖBB Vectron electric locomotive. The prototype of the Vectron is a locomotive series made by Siemens Mobility, introduced at the 2010 InnoTrans trade fair in four prototype versions: diesel, multi-system, and both AC and DC electric power. The Vectron series is reconfigurable and modular, with a Bo'Bo' wheel arrangement, and is intended as the successor to the EuroSprinter family of locomotives.
With the Vectron, PIKO has delivered a detailed model that is based on a solid zinc die-cast frame. The proven PIKO motor with two large flywheels ensures excellent running properties. The traction of the locomotive, which is driven across all four axles, is increased by two traction tires, which are arranged diagonally to each other on the axles running on both bogies.
The headlights and tail lamps are illuminated by LEDs, the red and white of which change with the direction of travel.
A PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 with mfx capability is factory-fitted.
