The Falling Tree does just this. The viewer is very surprised when an imposing 17 cm tree falls to the ground completely unexpectedly at the edge of the forest. The trick behind this is extremely simple: there is a servo under the tree that brings it down realistically; slowly at first, and then faster until the tree finally hits the ground. After about 8 seconds, the tree stands up again on its own.
