Lux Modellbau 9315 N Product Details
The wheel cleaning systems from LUX allow easy cleaning of all driven and non-driven wheels on locomotives, coaches and wagons. Wheel treads are cleaned, traction tires are de-oiled and the functionality 9of the models is guaranteed. The wheel cleaning technology, driven by a 12 volt DC motor (Faulhaber1), causes two polishing rods to oscillate under the locomotive and wagon wheel. This produces a cleaning effect on the wheel tread of locomotives and carriages. The wheel tread rolling on the 183 mm long cleaning rods is thus completely cleaned even with larger wheel diameters. The motor of the wheel cleaning system is operated with a regulated direct voltage of 0-12 volts (DC). A corresponding supply voltage is provided by commercially available model railroad transformers. In digital operation, a locomotive decoder with high-frequency motor control is connected upstream of the motor.
