Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click 'Checkout' at the top right of the website and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments. Prices are quoted in £ sterling. Place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept most Debit and Credit Cards. We do not accept Americal Express

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us immediately by email to info@dcctrainautomation.co.uk and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.


We endevour to ensure that all orders recieved and paid for are shipped on the next day (Except during Saturday's, Sunday's and Public and/or Company holidays, when the 1st available working day will be used).

Items that are out of stock will be notifed to you ASAP.

If you select the 'Best Way' flat rate postage, we will ship using our choice of method, and the item will be insured for its full value. If you need items urgently, or have ordered a high value, then we suggest you select registered, or special delivery to provide insurance on your shipment.

You will recieve regular emails as your order progresses.

Delivery Schedule

Whilst we use our best endeavours to ship your order within 24hrs of receipt, speed shall not be of the essence unless specified as such in writing at the time of order. We shall not be held liable for damage or loss of items once placed in the care of our delivery agent, however caused. DCC Train Automation shall not be liable for loss or damage to shipments that are selected at the time of checkout by the customer to ship via an un-insured service. In the event of loss or damage to un-insured shipments DCC Train Automation shall not be held responsible for any financial, material or peripheral loss, but will provide on a best efforts basis reasonable assistance to the customer by providing information on means and method of shipment if required.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. Your order will be treated as confirmed and payment will be taken. If for any reason we are unable to supply an item we will refund your payment.

Tax Charges

All orders will have UK VAT rate applied.

Credit Card Security

We store and process all customer data in accordance with the current legal requirements of the United Kingdom Data Protection Act.

Returns Policy

When goods leave DCC Train Automation they are checked to make sure they are in good condition before shipping. If they are damaged when they arrive, it is therefore damage that has occurred in transit. If you need to return goods for any reason, whether they have been damaged in transit or are faulty, please follow the steps below to enable us to process your refund efficiently:

1. Give the reason for the return on the back of the invoice.
2. If you do not have the original invoice, please send us a note detailing the reason for return. This note MUST include your order number which you will be able to find in your online account
3. In the case of a faulty product please provide a full description of the fault on the back of the invoice.
4. Wrap the item securely in its original packaging.
5. Then send the package (via recorded or special delivery, as items lost or damaged in the post are your responsibility) to the address below:

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way.
